Is the Brief Too Tight???

Should a woman’s disposable undies be tucked in the leg creases too? I thought it was bad to have it tight against the skin?

Always - you want to keep urine and feces in the groin area, but be very careful that the elastic is not pulled too tight, as this can cause pressure wounds - and can be very uncomfortable. If the patient is actually bed bound - or mostly bed bound - please use tabbed briefs. The pull-up variety have a lot of elastic and can be very tight causing wounds, discomfort and certainly are much more difficult to put on than tabbed variety. Thanks for your question!
