Use a squeeze bottle to change a soiled brief!

Question: Some bowel movements are so large and sticky that cleaning takes a long time, uses so many disposable wipes and is hard on the patient. Do you have any tips?

The Hospice Care Plan Reply: Help yourself and the patient. Place an absorbent pad under the patient - perhaps an old towel. Grab a squeeze bottle and fill with warm water for a more comfortable and efficient process. Get clean quickly and easily and more comfortably.
